The Wabos Trails End is located in the heart of Ontario near the city of Sault Ste. Mare, where the Great Lakes meet each other: Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, and Lake Huron. A 45-minute drive from Sault Ste. Marie at the end of the road is Searchmont, a small village of 275 people. A country road leads to our comfortable accommodations where you have access to the wilderness and nature, numerous lakes, rivers and creeks, and the unique Canadian Wildlife. Searchmont is the ideal ‘Trailhead’ for your journey to explore the beauties of this land and all it has to offer.

Where’s the Wabos Trails End:

From Sault Ste. Marie West:
Drive South on Highway 17 South; turn left onto Highway 556 at Heyden.
From Sault Ste. Marie east and the International Bridge:
Drive North on Highway 17 North; turn right onto Highway 556 at Heyden.
Follow Highway 556 for 27 km (15 miles) until you reach Highway 532. Proceed along Highway 532 through the town of Searchmont. Follow road for 10 km (7 miles) past the General Store.
The Wabos Trails End Lodge is on the right, house number 2762.
